US experts recommend authorization of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for toddlers

An expert advisory committee voted on Wednesday to approve Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for children between 6 months and 4 years old, the last age group not yet eligible to receive this protection in the United States. United, as in many countries.

This unanimous recommendation from the 21 members of the committee comes just after a similar opinion formulated for the Moderna vaccine, also intended for babies and very young children. The United States Medicines Agency must now make its decision on the authorization of these two vaccines for toddlers, which rarely differs from that of the committee.
