The episode of fine particle pollution (PM10) which began last Tuesday continues in Île-de-France and in Hauts-de-France. The departmental and regional prefectures have extended their measures to reduce pollution at least until Monday March 28 inclusive.
“High levels of particles are expected in the region, due to weather conditions unfavorable to dispersion, an accumulation of pollution for several days and high levels throughout the northern and eastern part of France”says Airparif.
In Ile-de-Francethe measures put in place since Saturday in part of the region are extended at least until Monday inclusive, said the police headquarters in a press release on Sunday March 27. Thus the differentiated circulation remains in force. Only vehicles with a Crit’Air sticker 0, 1 and 2 are authorized to drive in Paris, in the small and medium suburbs (inside the perimeter delimited by the A86 motorway), from 5:30 a.m. to midnight. Traffic is also slowed down by 10 to 20 km/h on all axes usually limited to 80 km/h or more, within this same perimeter.
In the Hauts-de-France, differentiated traffic is also renewed this Monday from 6 a.m. and for 24 hours in Lille and in nine municipalities in the Lille suburbs, except the motorways, namely La Madeleine, Lambersart, Lezennes, Marcq-en-Baroeul, Marquette-lez -Lille, Mons-en-Baroeul, Ronchin, Saint-André-lez-Lille and Sequedin, indicates the prefecture in a press release. Only Crit’Air vignettes 0, 1, 2 and 3 are accepted.
In Brittanyon the other hand, the prefecture of Ille-et-Vilaine estimates that the episode of pollution will end on Sunday and therefore does not extend the differentiated traffic set up for the first time in Rennes this Sunday.
In Centre-Loire ValleyIhe prefecture of Loir-et-Cher lifted the pollution alert from Sunday at midday and that of Eure-et-Loir the day before.
In Normandythe Eure prefecture lifted the pollution alert on Saturday.
