Cécilia’s Devious Plot Against Luna

Inside the prison walls, Cécilia serves breakfast to her rival, Luna. Trusting her, Luna takes a sip of coffee, only to be told by Cécilia that she has tampered with it. Heartbroken, Luna confronts Cécilia about her intense hatred, leading Cécilia to hand her a blade, pushing her towards despair.

Moments later, Luna pleads with a prison guard for a meeting with her lawyer, exclaiming, ‘I need help, it’s Cécilia Lopes who wants to harm me.’ She reveals the blade given to her, prompting the guard to respond, ‘That raises serious concerns, but if that blade belongs to you, your troubles will multiply.’

After his talk with Luna, the guard finds Cécilia lurking nearby. He shows her the blade and warns, ‘This isn’t a joke. What if she had harmed herself?’ He mentions needing to report this incident, but Cécilia insists otherwise.

In a surprising twist, we learn that Cécilia and the guard are in a relationship. She asks him to demonstrate his loyalty by shielding her from consequences, to which he replies, ‘I’ll do my best.’ Nonetheless, he cautions her to steer clear of Luna, but Cécilia claims, ‘I’ll take care of her soon.’

Babeth’s Unexpected Opportunity

Meanwhile, Babeth and Patrick are out shopping for the holidays. While enjoying the festive atmosphere in Marseille, Babeth receives news that her application for a humanitarian mission has been approved. Unbeknownst to Patrick, this mission will take her to Greece for two months.

Upon hearing the news, Patrick is taken aback and expresses concern, ‘You can’t leave us alone for two months?’ Babeth reassures him, ‘It’s not serious, it’s insane. I won’t go.’

Back at the police station, Patrick feels downcast, worried that Babeth might regret passing up this chance. Jean-Paul (Stéphane Henon) suggests that he encourage her to seize the opportunity, reminding him that two months will pass quickly.

Patrick struggles with the thought of Babeth being away during the holidays. To uplift his spirits, Boher invites him to open a door on the beloved advent calendar, revealing the message: ‘The path of love is called sacrifice.’

Later, Patrick approaches Babeth at the medical office, asking, ‘Regarding the humanitarian trip to Greece, are you sure you won’t regret it if you decline?’

After a moment of contemplation, Babeth shares her feelings, ‘I can’t stop thinking about it. My inner voice tells me I should go.’ She feels grateful for Patrick’s support in her decision-making process.

Strain in Baptiste and Emma’s Relationship

This morning at the Mistral, Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré) investigates the secret life of his stepdaughter, Emma. She ultimately admits, ‘I didn’t actually sprain my ankle. I lied to keep my job.’

Knowing Emma spent the previous day with a man at a luxury hotel, Thomas presses her, ‘Is there anything else? Are you sure?’ Emma maintains that everything is fine, but is that really true?

A few hours later, Gabriel, Baptiste, and Mathis return to the Mistral. Emma takes the chance to talk privately with Baptiste, confessing her lie about the ankle injury.

Angry, Baptiste responds, ‘My life is here in Marseille, and I’m not going anywhere. I sacrificed everything for you!’ Emma, shocked by his outburst, retorts, ‘You’re telling me this now that my career is taking off?’

The argument escalates, with Baptiste declaring, ‘I think we’ve said it all.’ He insists that Mathis should live with him, but Emma firmly opposes this idea. Does she truly have any power in this situation?

Meanwhile, Thomas comforts his grandson, who is upset by the constant fighting between his parents. A single mother, seeking a foster home for her daughter, overhears them and is moved by the care Thomas and Gabriel show to the little boy.

Later that evening, Thomas reveals a shocking discovery to Gabriel: he caught Emma with another man. Gabriel is left in disbelief, and while Thomas wants to inform their son, Gabriel fears the repercussions.

As they exit the Mistral, they hear a baby crying. To their surprise, it’s the child of the single mother, accompanied by a note stating: ‘Meet Romy, take good care of her; she is your little girl.’
