The fine weather with sunshine paused for a day to give way to showers over southern and central Quebec on Tuesday.
Montreal and Montérégie could receive 15 to 25 millimeters in the morning, all under comfortable temperatures of 22 degrees, according to Environment Canada forecasts.
In the northern sectors of the island and in the western part of the province, the clouds could give rise to precipitation of up to 30 millimeters, while the mercury will drop.
The rain will also affect the center of the province in the afternoon, in particular Mauricie, Estrie, Beauce and the region of Quebec, with temperatures in the normal range for the season.
On the other hand, the sectors of eastern Quebec will have their beautiful summer day with generally sunny weather and a mercury almost without Humidex.
As of Wednesday, fine sunny weather will prevail throughout Quebec, while temperatures will be on the rise, a trend that will continue until the weekend.
