Since 2019, the work at the Place-des-Arts metro station has made it possible to expand and repair the entrance building located on rue de Bleury Nord, in which an elevator has been installed.

In this same entrance, the stairs and the structural slab have been redone, and motorized butterfly doors have been added.

Two other elevators have also been in service since Thursday in the station.

Note that 10 other metro stations in Montreal are in the process of becoming accessible to all, namely Angrignon, Berri-UQAM (yellow line), Édouard-Montpetit, D’Iberville, Jolicoeur, McGill, Outremont, Pie-IX, Place -Saint-Henri and Villa-Maria.
