United States: the American Supreme Court could attack the right to abortion

On the evening of Monday May 2, demonstrators chant “abortion is health” before the United States Supreme Court. A mobilization which follows the revelation, Monday, May 2, of the American media Politicothat the Supreme Court is preparing to dismantle the right to abortion in the country. It would be up to each State to adopt its own legislation and therefore to decide, if it wishes, to make abortion illegal.

“It has been a constitutional principle in our country for decades, and now is not the time to go back on it”testifies a demonstrator. In the country, the subject is explosive because such a decision would violate a fundamental right acquired it almost 50 years ago. The Supreme Court, with a conservative majority since the mandate of Donald Trump, has not yet confirmed the information.
