(New York) Czechs Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova won the US Open women’s doubles tournament, their third major title in 2022 after the Australian Open and Wimbledon on Sunday in New York.

The No.3 seeded pair beat the American duo of Catherine McNally and Taylor Townsend 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 in 2:10 on the Arthur-Ashe court in the final.

Krejcikova and Siniakova, who were also crowned at Roland-Garros in 2018 and 2021 and at Wimbledon in 2018, add a sixth Grand Slam title to their list, also rich with an Olympic title last summer in Tokyo.
