On Monday, November 8, the United States lifted restrictions on Covid-19. After closing the borders, tourists are welcome again in the country.

After long weeks of waiting, the United States decided to reopen the borders to tourists. Since the start of the health crisis, the US government had decided to close its borders to foreigners in order to limit the spread of the Coronavirus on their territory. It is now over, to the delight of visitors who were able to catch the plane on November 8. Many French people were also delighted with this reopening.

For some, it wasn’t just a trip, it was also about reuniting with loved ones. “I was crying this morning, I couldn’t realize she was on the plane. I asked him ‘did you get on board?‘”, tells Nesrine Sinno, American resident. Seeing New York again was also a relief for European tourists who were deprived of the city during the health crisis.
