Canada’s unemployment rate rose 0.2 percentage points to 6.4% in June, Statistics Canada said Friday. The rate has increased 1.3 percentage points since April 2023.
In Quebec, the unemployment rate increased by 0.6 percentage points to reach 5.7%.
