Unemployment rate hits 6.7% in October in Canada

Statistics Canada adds that in Quebec, the unemployment rate rose to 5.6% last month, down 0.1.

In the Maritimes, the rate fell in one month from 9.3% to 9.1% in New Brunswick and from 11.3% to 9.1% in Prince Edward Island. It increased from 8% to 8.3% in Nova Scotia.
