Eliott Shares Part of the Truth with Muriel
Eliott has just finished disposing of Curtis’s belongings when Thierry approaches him, asking what he’s doing in the area. Eliott playfully suggests he’s just dropped off a client and is taking a quick break between errands to clean his car. After checking the car’s documents, the police let him go.
When Eliott gets home, he finds Muriel, who tells him that she has successfully arranged a visit to their company’s premises. She asks him to clear his schedule for tomorrow to accompany her, but Eliott becomes irritated. When she presses him on what’s bothering him, he shares that he nearly got into an accident and felt terrified. Muriel comforts him.
The next day, Alex interrogates Noam and Curtis separately. However, both give the same account: Curtis is merely a client who purchased 1 gram of cocaine for a party, and they don’t know each other. Alex struggles to accept their story.
Nearby, Eliott recounts the events to Charles, who hopes Eliott has learned his lesson and will stop his reckless behavior. Eliott confirms this but struggles to tell Muriel that he lacks the budget to launch their business. For Charles, it’s preferable to that than admitting Eliott is headed to prison.
At the police station, Alex, Thierry, and Commissioner Becker review the investigation. Even though the two men have coordinated their strategies and no evidence has turned up from their homes, Commissioner Becker decides to continue holding Noam and Curtis in custody.
By the end of the day, Eliott gathers his strength to inform Muriel that Charles’s uncle is no longer willing to finance their project. This news hits her hard.
Louis Proposes to Maeva
In the morning, Louis tells his father that he wants to drop out of school to focus on his business. To everyone’s surprise, Marc agrees, provided that the company succeeds. He gives Louis six months to prove himself. If he fails, Louis will have to go back to school.
Shortly after, Louis receives a call from Flore, who declines his offer. He believes she’s rejecting him because of their past, but Flore clarifies that Tiago is uncomfortable with the idea of them reconnecting. Disappointed, Louis expresses his feelings. Nevertheless, Flore provides him with contacts of a few artists to help him out.
Louis reaches out to these contacts, but he faces rejection after rejection. When he meets up with Robin, he shares his frustrations. Robin suggests that Louis should offer a contract to Maéva, believing she would prefer working with a friend rather than a stranger.
Not long after, Louis meets Maéva and proposes a contract that would give her 50% of the sales. She agrees to consider it but doesn’t make any promises.
Feeling uncertain, Maéva turns to Alix, who points out that Louis unfortunately can’t compete with Lenny Vasquez’s company. Although Maéva realizes she would earn significantly less with Louis, she believes she would enjoy more artistic freedom with him.
Maéva then calls Lenny Vasquez to inform him that she won’t be signing his contract because she has decided to continue working with Louis. She later contacts Marc Mourre to share the good news. Marc, who overheard the conversation, tells his son how proud he is of him.
