Un si grand Soleil: An actor in mourning, he is now an orphan

In mourning since childhood, he still struggles to talk about it in the media. Interviewed by the magazine Closer, he had recounted with pain how this drama had made him realize that he had to choose this career as an actor. “Even today… even talking about it. (…) While I wanted to be an actor at the time of the baccalaureate, in a family very focused on the corporate culture, I had a sense of family and did like my cousins: a business school“, he had told.

When I became an actor, one of my uncles sent me a letter suggesting that I change my surname to facilitate my acting career.“… advice he ended up following! Fortunately, he has now created a family and can count on it to get through this ordeal: married since 1995 with a speech therapist, he is the father of four children, all teenagers now (the youngest, twins, are 14 years old).

Children with whom he is aware of being rather relaxed: it must be said, at the same time, that he does not necessarily see them every day, monopolized by his filming in the south of France. “Since I didn’t have a father, I’m a very cool dad. I offer them what I did not have. I am lucky to have no problems with my children. Besides, it doesn’t make them hot or cold that I’m an actor“, he had said in the same interview.

He will surely also be able to count his partners: over time, Mélanie Maudran and Tonya Kinzinger have become his close friends and left him little hearts on his publication to support him.
