Wednesday, January 26, “Un monde” is released. The film deals with the world of the playground: as Nora enters primary school, she faces school bullying suffered by her older brother.

A hubbub of the playground with its joys, but also this violence, out of sight of adults. Director Laura Wall made school bullying the subject of his first film, A world. “School is above all about the relationship with others. I wanted to confront the spectator with the learning of this relationship to the other”.

In the film, the main character witnesses the bullying of his big brother. The young actress is glaringly truthful: she herself was the victim of bullying at school. “We wonder if we did something wrong, if we have to talk about it, it’s a heavy weight to bear”, explains Maya Vanderbeque. From fiction to reality: in Paris, this young boy has an appointment with a psychologist from the house of Marion, a place of listening in memory of a teenager who gave birth to her days at 13, by dint of persecution. His mother, Nora Fraisse, now puts all her energy into helping the victims and their families. The film A world will be screened in many French schools, with the hope of raising awareness among students.
