“Saboteurs” eliminated. On Monday evening, the Russian security services (FSB) claimed to have “eliminated” “four saboteurs” Ukrainians trying to enter the Russian region of Bryansk from Ukraine. A video, broadcast by the Ria-Novosti news agency and attributed to the FSB, shows bloodied corpses, surrounded by weapons and dressed in winter camouflage uniforms.
A “dark and difficult” end of the year. In recent days, the city of Kherson, reconquered on 11 November by the Ukrainian army, was particularly targeted, with in particular a bombardment which killed 10 people in the city center, Saturday. Returning to this bloody record, President Zelensky stressed that the Ukrainians must “to be aware” that Russia was trying to impose an end of the year on them “dark and difficult”.
A targeted airbase. According to Russian news agencies, a Ukrainian drone was shot down on Monday as it approached the Engels base in the Saratov region overnight, some 600 km from Ukraine. “Following the fall of the wreckage of the drone, three Russian technicians who were on the airfield were fatally injured”according to the Tass agency, citing the Ministry of Defense.
