Ukraine: what are they waiting for to counter-attack?

It is rare to see an armored personnel carrier supplied by the Americans. These vehicles are so valuable that Ukrainians often refuse to show them. Near a front line in Ukraine, in a place kept secret, the soldiers tell on board the tank that they do not have enough vehicles of this type. And it would be partly for this that the counter-offensive would not begin. “With a car like this, we can protect more Ukrainian soldiers. The more machines we have, the more lives will be saved”, says one of them. France has just very recently promised to deliver more machines in this category.

The big day is long overdue

They are all waiting for the big day. “With simple cars, we can’t do that. We can be killed. Whereas with this, it’s almost impossible to be killed”, adds a soldier. The tank is carefully hidden so as not to be spotted by Russian army drones. Not far from the latter, there are 4x4s provided by the United States. An American citizen is fighting alongside Ukrainian soldiers and this armor has already saved his life. “I survived a mine laid by the Russians and an anti-tank missile thanks to that”, he adds. The soldiers are therefore waiting for the big day to carry out a counter-offensive against their Russian enemies.
