At least 40 soldiers and a dozen civilians were killed Thursday in the early hours of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters.
“I know that more than 40 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and several dozen wounded and there is talk of a dozen civilians killed”, across the country, declared Oleksiy Arestovych. Those losses were caused by air and missile strikes on Thursday morning, he said.
