UK presents budget as street rumbles

On the BBC, the presentation of the British budget is done against a background of demonstration. Teachers, doctors, subway drivers… as the country is shaken by the biggest protests in its history, the new Conservative government is unveiling its budget with one key word: get the country back to work. “Due to changing international factors and the actions I am taking, the UK will not enter a technical recession this year”says Jeremy Hunt, British Finance Minister.
