UK introduces tax on oil companies

The UK will tax oil companies. The energy bill of the British will increase by more than 900 euros per year, on average. After refusing to touch the huge profits of oil companies, Boris Johnson’s government is doing an about-face and introducing a tax. These measures come at the right time to make people forget the “partygate” and stop the fall in popularity of the Prime Minister.
