(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes have extended their association with American linebacker Tyrice Beverette for one year.
In his first season with the Alouettes in 2022, the 27-year-old tallied 55 tackles, in addition to one interception and 21 special teams tackles.
He also returned his interception from a distance of 100 yards for a major against the Edmonton Elks. This is the fourth longest interception return in the history of the Montreal formation.
Beverette also had four knockdowns and three fumble recoveries on her record, in addition to causing a fumble.
