Huge barges being tossed about collide with each other before crashing into a bridge. Miraculously, the structure held up. But the greatest concern is off the Philippine coast, near Limay, where an oil tanker carrying 1.4 million litres of oil capsized in the middle of a storm. Rescuers managed to save the crew members, but one man died. The boat itself sank. The authorities fear an oil spill and have deployed floating barriers. However, the oil slick has already reached 4 kilometres long. An investigation is to determine whether Typhoon Gaemi is the cause of the sinking.
