After Typhoon Yagi, Vietnam is counting its losses and facing major flooding. At least 155 people have died.

In a province northeast of Hanoi (Vietnam), a bridge collapsed on Monday, September 9, causing several cars and trucks to fall into the void. The scene, filmed by a motorist, is impressive. The structure collapsed into the muddy waters of the Red River. Dozens of people are missing, those who could be rescued are taken to hospital. “I was so scared when I fell, I feel like a miracle”testifies a survivor of the bridge fall.

Almost nothing remains of the 375-meter-long bridge that was cut in two. Floods, landslides and mudslides… Several days after the passage of Typhoon Yagi, Vietnam remains in the grip of multiple natural disasters, plunging many inhabitants into distress and fear. At least 155 people have died so far.
