The French have had a passion for some time for tiny houses, these transportable mini-houses. Tybivouac is a company that has existed for a little over a year, born on the initiative of Jimmy Lugaz and his partner Jérôme Duranceau. Jimmy Lugaz has a background as a cabinetmaker and a specialty in product design. For years, they worked together in a Bocage company that designs and manufactures playgrounds for communities. When Jérôme’s sister buys a tiny house, they dream of making one.
Build eco-responsible tiny houses
Jimmy Lugaz and Jérôme Duranceau have the skills and know-how to make these tiny houses themselves. In 2019-2020, the project is taking shape. The Tybivouac company was born in February 2021.
They offer their customers – individuals or professionals who have a gite or a campsite – a few customizable models.
They use the most eco-responsible materials possible: French wood, hemp for insulation that grows in Vendée and trailer frames made in France. Tiny houses are sold empty or completely furnished.
Tybivouac also manufactures micro-caravans. The teardrop is a small retro-style caravan that includes sleeping accommodation for two people and an outdoor kitchen.
Tybivouac offers unusual mobile accommodation for lovers of simple pleasures.
