Txomin Larronde, alias Txo, is a pillar of the music scene in the Basque Country.
Since adolescence, he has been singing, playing the guitar, he has participated in several groups, including the well-known and popular Txakun, and since 1998 he has led a mainly solo career.
Txo’s music oscillates between folk, rock and pop, with texts in which he reveals himself, sometimes with restraint and modesty, sometimes with a lot of humor.
In “Erdi Biluzik”, we discover 8 unreleased tracks.
“Alegia Deus”, a call for more humanity
“Alegia Deus” evokes today’s world and tackles the delicate subject of migrants: driven out by the misery of their countries, they arrive here and are confronted with racism, fear of the other, indifference of a society where many are uninterested in others, and even more so in “outsiders”.
The text is strong, sensitive, Txo reminds us that we are all part of the same world, of the same planet – the earth -, that we come from the same seed and grow in the same garden.
