two young people seriously injured with a knife in a brawl leaving a nightclub

Two young people were injured by a stab wound early Sunday April 3 during a brawl between young alcoholics at the exit of a nightclub, the Périgueux prosecutor’s office told France Bleu Périgord on Tuesday, April 12, confirming information of Southwest.

The brawl opposed two groups of young people around 5:30 a.m. for a still unclear reason. What is certain is that the two groups were highly alcoholic. “And it could have ended very badly“, indicates the parquet floor of Périgueux.

A victim spent a week in intensive care

One of the two victims, interviewed by Sud-Ouest, explains that he was stabbed in the stomach. He was operated on the gallbladder and part of the colon. The other victim, injured in the chest, spent a week in intensive care.

The perpetrator of the assault is an 18-year-old young man unknown to the police. The gendarmes found the weapon at the scene of the fight. He was referred and then placed under judicial supervision on April 6. He will be tried at the end of June by the Périgueux Criminal Court for violence with a weapon resulting in an ITT of more than eight days.
