They are 16 and 17 years old and will take part in the U18 European Athletics Championships: Tobias Flon, licensed at UPAC Château-Gontier, will participate in the 3000m and Edouard Chaudet, an athlete from the EANM (Entente athlétisme Nord-Mayenne) has been selected in the high jump.
Two Mayennes among 36 young French athletes
The list of athletes selected for this competition was unveiled this Thursday, June 23 by the French Athletics Federation (FFA). A total of 36 young athletes under the age of 18 have been selected across France.
The European Championships take place from July 4 to 7 in Jerusalem, Israel.
