Two young people were arrested after a wild rodeo and the assault of the mayor of Faulq, in Calvados, on Saturday 23 October, reports France Bleu Normandie, Thursday 28 October. The elected, Bruno Lethuillier, had filed a complaint, as well as the prefect of Calvados, and an investigation had been opened for aggravated violence.
Young people had started to do a wild rodeo Saturday afternoon in front of the home of the mayor, who then tried to put an end to it. In retaliation, the mayor said he had been beaten with a baton. He was prescribed four days of ITT.
