It was Isabelle Mayau who started looking for places to go to in very hot weather, the criteria were simple:
you can go there with the children and it is much cooler than elsewhere.
Isabelle Mayau’s response (from Les Bons Plans d’Isa et Marion):
– in Vienna : the Grotte de La Marche and the Grotte des Fadets in Lussac Les Châteaux. Needless to say that in these caves, the temperatures require you to wear long sleeves and then these caves are historic, and even prehistoric, it is there that the famous engraved tablets of Lussac les Châteaux were discovered. The good plan? These caves are only accessible by reservation and under conditions at the prehistory museum in Lussac les Châteaux, visits are organized on May 18 and 25, 2022.
– in the Deux-Sèvres : let’s go see the waterfall of the Vallée du Pressoir near Thouars. It also bears the name of the Gouraudière waterfall or Pommiers waterfall, a natural site in Ste Radegonde. Cliffs, flowing water…
Obviously, we also think very strongly of the Cliffs of Beauvoir (86) and the Silver Mines of the Frankish Kings in Melle (79).
Thank you Isabelle Mayau! Good freshness to all.
