After having made duets with Loud, the German group Milky Chance, Lubalin and her lover Aliocha, Charlotte Cardin will join her talent to that of her friend Patrick Watson; the pair will release a co-written song in English in August and a second in French later in the year.

Charlotte Cardin and Patrick Watson sang together last year on the Plains of Abraham at the Festival d’été de Québec, a moment that the singer-songwriter enjoyed so much that he wanted to work with the singer and musician finalist at The voice.
“When we sang together last year, I just really liked working with her, explains Patrick Watson. We went to the studio, we started practicing and I immediately wanted to co-write with her.
Next to You
baptized Next to You, this English piece will be unveiled next August. Composed as a duo, it will however only be performed by Charlotte Cardin.
The 43-year-old artist behind the hits Here Comes The River And The Great Escape says he is very proud of this new play and the next one, which will be in French and which was also concocted with Charlotte Cardin.
“She has an amazing voice, and to be honest, I asked her: is it OK if I write you a melody (laughter)? Because she already had a piece of song that she had written. We worked together to finish it,” continues the founder of the Live à Lost River festival, which will be held from August 24 to 27 in Wentworth-Nord, in the heart of the nature of the Laurentians.

full-fledged artist
A sincere admirer of the 28-year-old singer-songwriter, Patrick Watson believes that Charlotte Cardin is an artist in her own right, who in addition to being talented, “is cool, is not arrogant and is really incredible.”
Can we expect to see them on stage as a duo this summer or later in the year? “If it’s possible, I would never say no to that,” replies the singer, who will be touring the United States in the fall.
99 Nights, Charlotte Cardin’s second album, will be released on August 25th. Two excerpts, out of the 12 songs to come, have already been unveiled: confetti And Looping. On June 7, the artist shared the cover of his disc on his social networks.
