A call was made to 911 concerning “two people injured by stabbing in a playground near the Olympic stadium, located on Sherbrooke Street near Viau Street,” said agent Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the SPVM. .
When they arrived at the scene, the police spotted the two 14-year-old teenagers. They were conscious and injured in the upper body. They were transported to a hospital, but there is no fear for their lives.
A conflict reportedly broke out between the two victims and a suspect leading to the stabbing. It is not known if the suspect is also a minor. He fled on foot.
Although the two stabbing events that occurred in the Hochelaga borough on Friday evening are similar, they are not related, said officer Chèvrefils.
