Two suspects presented to a judge after the discovery of a man shot dead in Moselle

The investigation is progressing after the death of a man on the night of Saturday November 5 to Sunday November 6 in Longeville-lès-Metz. The 40-year-old victim was shot dead in an apartment, as revealed by our colleagues from the Republican Lorrain
. The Metz prosecutor’s office indicates that two people are going to be brought before a judgein the evening of Monday, November 7, with a view to a possible indictment.

A couple arrested

It is a couple. The 52-year-old man is suspected of murder. It was he who called the police on Sunday morning, claiming to have discovered his friend’s body after leaving his apartment for the night. His 51-year-old companion was also arrested on Monday morning. She is suspected of “concealment of object concerning a crime to obstruct the manifestation of the truth”.

This woman called the police claiming to have a firearm, while evoking the police custody of his companion. His words remained unclear during his hearing on Monday afternoon. These two people should be indicted in the next few hours.
