In the North, two sisters were arrested for illegal botox injections, without any training. They offered their services on social networks using non-approved or even expired products.

In 2021, this fifties had decided to find the face of his youth. Botox, hyaluronic acid, injections gone wrong. Benoît was the victim of two sisters in their twenties who occasionally rented a salon and made themselves known on the internet. The two sisters, however, had no medical qualifications.
600 people would have received these illegal injections
After four months of investigation, the research section of the gendarmerie of Lille (North) seized hundreds of unapproved products. “Laboratory analyzes have taught us that there is in certain syringes, although in blister packs, so a priori new, the presence of bacteria at a rate 50 times higher than the maximum authorized”, explains an investigator. 600 people would have received these illegal injections. For the moment, only 26 have filed a complaint.
