Two Quebec filmmakers in Locarno

The latest films by Quebec filmmakers Denis Côté and Eric K. Boulianne are among the works that will be presented at the Locarno Film Festival, which has just unveiled its programming.


Starring Larissa Corriveau, the feature film Miss Kenopsia by Denis Côté will have its world premiere as part of the event to be held in Switzerland from August 2 to 12. The film is entered in the Fuori Concorso section.

The filmmaker is a regular at the festival where he has presented several of his films, including wilcoxin 2019, and Your skin so smoothin 2017.

The short movie make a child by Eric K. Boulianne (Little brother, PRANKS) will be in official competition in the Pardi Di Domani section.

The film follows the ups and downs of a couple trying to start a family after several years of dating.

This is the director’s first presence in Locarno.
