Two agents of the municipal police of Amiens were run over by a car on Thursday evening in the Picardy capital. The motorist collided with them on rue Le Mattre around 6:40 p.m.: the police had chased him after his refusal to comply. Slightly injured, the two agents were taken care of after their fall by the firefighters. They were taken to Amiens hospital.
The person behind the wheel of the accused car for his part fled. This Thursday evening, the first deputy mayor of Amiens, Hubert de Jenlis, indicated on social networks that the municipality is putting “everything is working with the National Police to find this driver.”
