California is still in the grip of violent fires, Monday August 1st. 22,000 hectares have already burned and two people have died in the flames.
It is a true scene of apocalypse which the Californians are witnessing. Walls of flame stretch for many miles, Monday August 1. The national forest of Klamath continues to be devastated by fires. The fire that was named McKinney even forces firefighters to stop their vehicles as they can’t go any further due to the immense inferno which ravages the vegetation. The inhabitants are evacuated in turn, but some do not want to flee and leave their homes.
Although the fire threatens, Californians refuse to leave. “When that fire came, it came down from the ridge in maybe 15 minutes. The trees exploded, I’ve never seen that. It’s the most terrifying thing I’ve ever experienced”reports Craig Hodgsona resident of the U.S. state. The violence of the fire is exacerbated by very dry soils and gusts of wind, which help the spread of the flames. This gigantic fire has already killed two people.
