Two people died in the crash of a tourist helicopter in Saint-Raphaël in the Var on Wednesday June 26 in the evening, reports France 3 Provence-Alpes Côte d’Azur.
According to the department’s firefighters, the two victims were on board the vehicle that fell shortly before 6 p.m. near the Estérel Caravaning campsite, without causing collateral damage.
This is a “small helicopter, which is not a government helicopter”specify the firefighters who add that“there was no fire”.
Contacted by France 3, the campsite managers confirm that the crash took place “next to the campsite, not inside”.
