Quebec forwards William Leblanc and Jonathan Joannette have each signed a contract extension for the 2022-2023 season with the Trois-Rivières Lions.

The news was announced on Friday by the ECHL team.
Earlier this week, the Lions announced the return of captain Cedric Montminy as well as that of defender Mathieu Brodeur.
Effective on the penalty kill, Leblanc tallied 23 points, including 11 goals, in 32 games with the Lions during the recent season, he who is a product of the Patriotes of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Joannette is best known for her robust playing.
The Trois-Rivières team also announced on Friday the returns of defenders Connor Welsh and Bradley Johnson for the next campaign.
