Two new departments of the Hexagon are placed in orange vigilance for heat wave, specifies the site of Météo France Monday August 8. In the South-West, Gironde and Lot-et-Garonne therefore join Gard and Vaucluse, in the South-East, already placed in orange vigilance on Saturday and Sunday. The southern half of the country is mostly still on yellow alert. “The day of Tuesday promises to be still scorching with 36 to 38 ° C on the Vaucluse and especially on the Gard”, specifies Météo France in its bulletin.
