Deux-Montagnes firefighters were notified of the fire that occurred on 15e Avenue around 3:30 a.m. They then drove to the scene and quickly brought the flames under control. No injuries were reported as no one was inside the home at the time.

Once the fire was extinguished, they noted the presence of traces of accelerant. As the fire is considered suspicious, the file was transferred to the Deux-Montagnes police.

A wide security perimeter was erected to protect the scene for the investigators who had to move on the scene.

The house of Tony Accurso’s son, located on the same street, was targeted by gunfire last August. This event caused no injuries.
