The two young people aged 16 and 17, suspected of having shot and killed a 19-year-old teenager in Annonay, in Ardèche, on the night of Saturday June 8 to 9, were indicted for murder on Saturday June 15, reports France Blue Drôme Ardèche. They were placed in pre-trial detention, but neither admits to being behind the fatal shootings.
The Privas public prosecutor confirmed to France Bleu Drôme-Ardèche that this case is linked to drug trafficking. According to the first elements collected, these two young suspects are friends of the victim. Aged 19, the victim was known to the gendarmerie services. She went to the Cèdres housing estate in Annonay during the night, after an appointment given by her “best friend”, according to France Bleu. It was at the foot of this building that the young man was hit by several bullets. Seven shell casings were found at the scene.
THE “best friend” who arranged to meet the victim has not yet been arrested, details France Bleu Drôme Ardèche. The trail of an ambush remains favored. The judicial investigation opened on Saturday morning was entrusted to the criminal division of the Avignon judicial court.
