Two activists from the ultra-right movement were arrested Tuesday, November 16 by the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI). They are targeted by an investigation by the anti-terrorism prosecution, Franceinfo learned from a judicial source. One of them is a 46-year-old employee of the town hall of Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne). Weapons were found at his home. The second suspect was arrested in Gironde.
The two men are accused of calling for violent actions on the encrypted Telegram messaging app and of making racist and anti-Semitic comments. They are targeted by an investigation for “terrorist criminal association”, Franceinfo learned from a judicial source.
At this stage, no link is established with the conspirator Rémy Daillet, figure of the ultra-right, in particular suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of the little girl Mia. The latter was indicted on October 22 for “criminal terrorist association”. He is suspected of being involved in plans for an attack of the ultra-right group “Honor and Nation”.
