Two young men aged 18 and 21 were indicted and placed in pre-trial detention on suspicion of kidnapping and raping a 38-year-old woman in Vieille-Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) on the evening of 24 September, announces Wednesday, October 5 the parquet floor of Toulouse to France Bleu Occitanie.
According to the Toulouse prosecutor’s office, this 38-year-old woman was approached by these two young men in Rangueil, in front of her residence, as she was returning home by car. She was then threatened with a gun and then forced to let the two young men into the car. Driven against her will to Vieille-Toulouse, she was then beaten and then raped by one of the two men, according to the prosecution. The young woman was then abandoned in the middle of the street. A passerby came to his aid. The investigation was entrusted to the gendarmerie.
Both men were arrested the following day. One of the two men was driving the victim’s car when he was arrested. They were therefore both indicted for “kidnapping and forcible confinement to facilitate another crime”. One of the two is also indicted for “rape under the threat of a weapon”.
