Two women were injured Saturday in a knife attack at the evacuated Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMa), police said.
The two injured “are in stable condition” and have been transported to a nearby hospital, a spokesman for the New York police told AFP. According to NBC, their days are not in danger.
No one was arrested after the attack, which occurred at 4:16 p.m. (9:16 p.m. GMT) and the reasons for which are unknown at this stage, the police said. US media, however, said a suspect has been identified.
On Twitter, the police asked residents to avoid the neighborhood where the MoMa is located.
