Two men aged 28 and 32 were seriously injured by bullets on the morning of Sunday September 10 in a new shooting in the Pissevin district of Nîmes (Gard), almost three weeks after the death of a ten-year-old child in the same district, France Bleu Gard Lozère learned from the city prosecutor’s office, confirming information from Objectif Gard.
The shooting took place around 7 a.m. The two victims were taken care of by emergency services after being found in front of a supermarket, avenue des Arts, in the Pissevin district. The police also recovered a dozen cases from the scene.
According to information from France Bleu Gard Lozère, a burned vehicle was also quickly found on the outskirts of Nîmes, in Saint-Bauzély, with a Kalashnikov on board. The judicial police are responsible for the investigation.
Traveling to Nîmes at the end of August, after the death of this ten-year-old child and another young man of 18, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin announced reinforcements in the city “at least until the end of the year” and additional investigative resources.
