The Biathlon World Cup remains in Sweden on Saturday 4 December with the women’s pursuit event (10 kilometers) on the program from 1 p.m. in Östersund.
Sixth in the sprint on Thursday and 9th in the general classification of the World Cup, the French Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet represents a great chance for the podium, just like Chloé Chevalier (8th Thursday). Anaïs Bescond (14th Thursday in the sprint and also in the World Cup standings) and Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (15th in the World Cup) are also involved. Conversely, Julia Simon, 10th last season in the World Cup pursuit standings, struggles to enter the competition (never better than 35th in the first three individual races). Also in trouble, thea Norwegian Tiril Eckhoff (6 victories in pursuit last season, 7 in sprint) has not yet made a Top 20.
