Two French people, members of a vast child pornography network dismantled in Spain in 2016, were sentenced by the court in Tarragona (Catalonia), France Bleu Provence learned on Thursday October 6. The two men notably recruited their victims in the street. One of the two French, considered by the court as the “leader” of the largest pornography network in Spain, was sentenced to 240 years in prison, the highest sentence in the country. His accomplice, from Var, was sentenced to 19 years in prison.
The investigators had managed to find their trace, thanks in particular to telephone tapping. Placed in pre-trial detention for a few months, the two Frenchmen were released by the Spanish courts. The men, aged 67 and 77, then fled just before their trial in Spain.
