two former “Koh-Lanta” candidates say they no longer hear from him!

In 2020, Thomas and Myriam met on the set of the 22nd edition of Koh-Lanta, called Secret Weapons. Broadcast between March and June 2021, and won by Maxine, it allowed the two distinguished candidates to fall in love. The happy parents of little Leyan, born in September 2022, are back in a brand new adventure reality TV show, broadcast on W9 and called The Fifty. They are, with Frédérique Brugiroux, the only candidates of Koh Lanta to participate in this second edition, and thus face 47 other reality TV candidates, including Julien Tanti, Anaïs Camizuli, Bastos, Julie Ricci, Marjolaine Bui, Stéphane Rodrigues, Vanessa Breckpot and Stéphanie Clerbois.

In an interview given to Télé-Loisirs, the emblematic couple of Koh Lanta confesses to being aware of being now on the red list. In fact, production made the decision several years ago already to blacklist any adventurer participating in another reality TV program than Koh Lanta, even if the program is produced by a subsidiary of Banijay. ”I know that being present in the Les Cinquante program prevents me from going back to Koh-Lanta, because automatically, we are no longer part of the potential adventurers who could participate in another edition” regrets Thomas, before Myriam adds: ”In the eyes of production, we are banned. It’s unofficial, but we know it, and we’re not going to hide it. But unlike Thomas, I didn’t hesitate at all to participate in the Fifty”.

”He has special contacts with other adventurers”

Asked about Denis Brogniart, the two candidates revealed that they had never heard from the host of the program since their participation: ”I follow him on social networks, but we have never spoken since Koh-Lanta. Just once, I injured myself playing soccer and he offered to put me in touch with a doctor if I had broken my Achilles because he had been there. He congratulated us on the arrival of the baby, but we have no direct and personal contact. And Myriam adds: ”I know that he has special contacts with certain adventurers for sporting events, but I haven’t had any news since the baby was born either.”

Denis Brogniart weakened at ”Koh-Lanta”

Weakened for several months by the accusations of several ex-collaborators of virulent remarks made towards them on the sidelines of the Téléfoot filming in a vitriolic investigation revealed by Here, Denis Brogniart will be hosting the next edition of Koh-Lanta , filmed last spring and which will be broadcast on TF1 in 2024. Questioned by Pascale de la Tour du Pin on PAF last week, Alexia Laroche-Joubert denied any dismissal of Denis Brogniart from Koh-Lanta following this news season, after new revelations corroborating those already put forward by Guillaume Genton last June, to which neither TF1 nor Banijay had deigned to react at the time.
