On Wednesday March 29, the families of two activists seriously injured in the Sainte-Soline clashes decided to file a complaint against X for attempted murder and willful obstruction of the arrival of help.
In Sainte-Soline (Deux-Sèvres), did the authorities voluntarily slow down the rescue despite two wounded between life and death? A recording accredits this scenario: a call between a doctor, in support of the organizers and a regulator of the Samu. While the doctor reports several injuries, including a very serious one, the Samu responds that he is not authorized to intervene. According to the prefecture, this is explained by too violent clashes. Witnesses claim the opposite. And the gendarmerie notes in a report a relative return to calm and a withdrawal of the adversary from 2:20 p.m.
Two complaints filed
The call takes place thirty minutes later, at 2:50 p.m., according to the newspaper The world. Two demonstrators still have their vital prognosis engaged. Their families have filed a complaint for attempted murder and obstruction of rescue. “My conviction is that of the evidence. (…) A massive deployment of force, and no medical care in time, immediately and as it should have been”, denounces Me Chloé Chalot, the family lawyer. Wednesday, March 29 afternoon, in the Senate, Gérald Darmanin maintained his position, denouncing “fake news”. The prefecture and the ministry claim that the gendarmes sent a military doctor before the Samu to help the seriously injured, in the midst of a group of aggressive opponents.
