A motorist was checked on the Monts de Guéret rest area in Saint-Sulpice-le-Guérétois by the gendarmes of the Guéret Surveillance and Intervention Platoon. In his vehicle, they found 15 bars of cannabis resin (i.e. 1.5 kg of drug) and 900 euros of cash. The owner of the car, who was in the service station at the time of the check, fled. But he went the next day to the gendarmerie.
The two men were taken into custody and then imprisoned. They will appear this Monday, September 19 in court judiciary of Guéret.
