The Canadian team defeated Brazilians Barbara Seixas de Freitas and Carolina Solberg Salgado in three sets of 21-19, 20-22, 15-7.
The gold medal ended a more than two-year drought for Canadians on the professional beach volleyball circuit.
Pavan, of Kitchener, and Humana-Paredes, of Toronto, will take part in the World Beach Volleyball Championships, which begin Friday in Rome.
The Canadians won this event when it was last held in Hamburg, Germany in 2019.
