The wait is over. The last two Côte-d’Orian amateur clubs involved in the French Football Cup know their opponents for the 6th round of the competition, since this wednesday, october 20.
A first for Fauverney at this level of competition
Saint-Apollinaire, resident of National 3, will receive the US Charitoise (Nièvre) which plays in the same division as our Côte-d’Oriens. For their part, the players of Fauverney-Rouvres-Brétenière (R2), will welcome the Jura from Dôle. This team plays in National 2, three divisions above the Côte-d’Oriens.
Fauverney club to play for the first time in their history at this stage of the competition. The southern Côte-d’Or club qualified by beating Chalon-sur-Saône, 2 goals to 1, last week. The 6th round of the Coupe de France is scheduled for the weekend of October 31 and November 1.
